For freelancers and self-employed women, this can mean a direct impact on energy, productivity, and wellbeing.

This workshop offers knowledge, reflection, and practical tools to help you navigate this time consciously and confidently – while staying connected to your body and your work.

In this session, you will:

Designed for self-employed women aged 40+ who want to understand their bodies, maintain energy and confidence, and shape their freelance life with awareness.

About the speaker:
Dr. Jennifer Chan de Avila is a political scientist, certified menopause doula, and co-author of “Menopause in the Workplace. An Action Plan for Innovative Occupational Health Management” (Transcript, 2025).
She conducted research in the MenoSupport Project at HTW Berlin and is Germany’s expert in the ISO working group 45010 “Menstruation, Menstrual Health and Menopause.”
Through her initiative La Menodoula, she supports women, freelancers, and organisations in developing a mindful, research-based, and practical approach to menopause at work.
