How Smart Works for Clients

1. Service agreement with the freelancer

   You negotiate the conditions for the project directly with the member of the cooperative.
   When members process their work through Smart, they are employed by the cooperative. This gives them better economic and social security.

2. Order confirmation

   You will receive the order. You can confirm the order digitally or by signing a paper copy and emailing it back to us. From this point onwards, we are your contractual partner and we will invoice the services provided as agreed.

3. Fulfilment of the project

   The fulfilment of the order will be carried out by our member.

4. Paying the invoice

   Invoices from the cooperative are issued in accordance with the German VAT law.
